Fien Troch’s Newest Project Wins at TorinoFilmLab

Fien Troch’s upcoming film project Home has been awarded the Arte International Prize at the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event, part of the Turin Film Festival. The prize, given by Arte France Cinéma, goes to the most promising project among the 12 participants in the Script&Pitch workshop.Following Someone Else’s Happiness, Unspoken and Kid, Fien Troch is currently working on Home, a new feature film about generational conflict, revealing the thin line between trust, friendship and loyalty. Troch scripted Home with Nico Leunen, better known as the editor of films such as The Broken Circle Breakdown, Waste Land, The Misfortunates and Ryan Gosling’s Lost River.The Award comes with a cash prize of € 6,000 to enable the film to be developed further.For its seventh edition, the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event, running from November 24-26, brought together a line-up of 43 projects and hundreds of industry professionals. At the annual Event, various training initiatives organised by the TorinoFilmLab come to their conclusion, one of them Script&Pitch, an advanced script development course.
